A 2010 Acura TL and a 2018 Ford F-150 pick-up truck collided at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Wambold Road around 4:55 p.m., Police Chief Timothy Troxel said.
The Ford then left the roadway and struck a traffic signal standard, police said.
The Ford driver was airlifted by Jeff Stat 2 medevac helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital, where he is was listed in stable condition as of Thursday, Troxel said.
Both vehicles were being operated by male drivers, who were the sole occupants of each vehicle.
The intersection was closed until approximately 7:30 p.m. for investigation, which remains ongoing.
